The Oly Mountain Boys bluegrass band return to KAOS with a second visit to the “American Anecdotes” bluegrass and acoustic music show this Thursday, April 10 at 6:00 p.m. Our hometown bluegrass heroes will help us celebrate the Spring KAOS member drive by sharing selections from their new, very soon to be released CD “White Horse”. Paul Peck will play host.

“White Horse” tells the life story of a fictional historical character, Charlie McCarver, who lived in early 20th century Washington State. It begins with his happiness in youth with wife Lisa-Ann and their children. When his marriage unravels and his family leaves him, the songs chronicle Charlie’s psychological crack, descent into violence, and life on the run. The album closes with songs that explore Charlie’s memories, regrets, and confrontation with aging and death.
